1. Introduction

Welcome to PerfumEra. Our goal is to provide a refined and transparent shopping experience. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns and refunds.

This policy applies to all purchases made on www.perfumera.lv.


2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days – EU Law)

In accordance with European Union consumer protection legislation, consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days from the date of receiving the goods, without providing any reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us by email within the withdrawal period.


3. Extended Return Period (30 Days – PerfumEra Policy)

In addition to the statutory 14-day right, PerfumEra voluntarily offers an extended return period of up to 30 daysfrom the date of delivery, provided that:

  • the product is unused and undamaged;

  • the product is returned in its original packaging;

  • all labels, seals, and accessories are intact;

  • proof of purchase is provided.

The extended return period does not affect your statutory rights.


4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • opened perfumes, cosmetics, or personal care products;

  • products with removed or damaged seals;

  • personalized or custom-made items;

  • gift cards;

  • items purchased during clearance sales, if explicitly stated.


5. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us before sending the item:

Please include:

  • your order number;

  • the reason for return (optional for statutory withdrawal);

  • clear photos if the item is damaged or incorrect.

Returns sent without prior notification may not be accepted.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue promptly.


8. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds are processed within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods;

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method;

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.


9. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (damaged or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs;

  • In other cases, return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
